WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

The completed application form with the required documents in support of the application and full Curriculum Vitae (CV) must be sent to the EHPS President-elect by deadline, 12th January 2018.
An e-mail will be sent to you confirming receipt and completeness of your application.
The EHPS President-Elect will convene and chair a committee to consider the applications.
The chair of the early career awards committee will send all the applications to each committee member.  Each member will be asked to shortlist up to two candidates for the EHPS Herman Schaalma PhD award and up to three candidates for the EHPS Early Career Award.  The committee will then discuss each shortlisted candidate and agree award decisions.

THE WINNERS!

The successful winners will be contacted by the President-Elect and invited to attend the EHPS Conference free of charge where the award will be formally announced.  Each new award winner will be presented with a certificate confirming their award.  There will also be an opportunity for the winners to present their work during the conference. This is the reason why the submission deadline for these awards has been brought forward, to the 12th of January. Awardees will be able to flag this award when submitting their abstract so that this is accounted for when the conference programme is being organised. Awardees will then be flagged up in the programme.
