University of Malta

Health psychology is a recognised specialty in Malta. Regulated by the Malta Psychology Professions Board. The University of Malta also has a specialised 2 year Masters in Psychology (Health) course - with a good combination of theory and practice. Health Psychologists find good job opportunities in Malta, ranging from National Health Service, private work or research opportunities with the University of Malta or other institutions.

Health Psychology Malta is an NGO set up to create awareness about the psychology of health, most specifically in the Maltese context.

a) The Malta Psychology Profession Board - This is the body that regulates the psychology profession in Malta, including the warranting process. https://family.gov.mt/en/officially-appointed-bodies/psychology-profession-board/ b) Malta Chamber of Psychologists - The main objective of the Chamber is to act as a professional body for the discipline of psychology in Malta and as a representative body for psychologists practicing in Malta.
