CREATE (Collaborative REsearch And Training in the EHPS) is a subdivision of the European Health Psychology Society (EHPS), promoting education and collaboration for early career researchers working in the field of health psychology. CREATE aims to become a community consisting of a network of participants who are willing to communicate with each other and offer help whenever they can. Participation in most of the activities of CREATEis open to any doctoral or post-doctoral researcher working in the field of health psychology. SYNERGY (Collaboration and Innovation in theory and research in the EHPS) is a subdivision of the EHPS which aims at the development of core fields within health psychology through collaboration of advanced researchers. Annual three-day workshops are organized by Synergy to provide the opportunity for synergistic discussion about improved theoretical and methodological approaches as well as practical applications in respect to specific topics. Pre and Post-Conference Workshops The purpose of the QRIG (Qualitative Research Interest Group) is to promote high quality qualitative research within the EHPS and at the EHPS conferences. For this purpose the QRIG: (a) provides a forum for discussion, training and presentation in a variety of qualitative methodologies, including Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis, Grounded Theory, Discourse Analysis and Narrative Analysis. (b) organizes introductory and advanced training workshops as satellites of the EHPS conferences and as separate events, (c) aims to ensure the presence of high quality symposia at the conferences, both invited and regular symposia; (d) contributes to the evaluation of submissions for the conferences which are based on qualitative research methods; (e) provides a database of people interested in qualitative research in health psychology To join the Qualitative Interest Group please contact: Maggie Donovan-Hall
